Emmer Edition uses a very distinctive and special ancient grain for its base spirit. Black Emmer wheat is cultivated by Finch on the plateau of the Swabian Alb and turned into this delicious whisky aided by great craftmanship and 8 years spent maturing in ex wine barrels Its fascinating flavour bouquet is reminiscent of caramel, vanilla, biscuit and sultanas and Its finish is warm and long-lasting, with a subtle sweetness.

Finch whiskeys come from the highlands of the Swabian Alb, over 700 metres above sea level.

Our home-grown ingredients are carefully harvested, processed and grow in the purest air and crystal-clear water. Our whisky distillery has around 6,000 barrels, the contents of which were produced using a pot still with a volume of 3,000 litres, and therefore has the largest stock of long-matured whiskies in the whole of Germany.
