£70.61 (Exc. VAT)

The honeyed notes of the musk melon, part of the Cantaloupe family, a revered fruit in Japan, are balanced, with yuzu, a unique citrus fruit integral to Japanese cuisine. This version of the sling is a bright, zesty and effervescent drink, complimenting the fruity and floral notes of premium Daimon sake with a background note of bergamot tea.

The Story of Sake Sling

divide (2)

The Sake Sling base is a sake sourced from the Daimon Brewery in Osaka, Japan.

Daimon is a traditional Japanese sake brewery, founded in 1826 and has been producing craft sake for nearly 200 years.
Master Brewer, Yasutaka Daimon, is the 6th generation brewer in the Daimon family.

Daimon’s brewing process uses the Ginjo method with low temperature and longer fermentation periods, coupled with free-flowing mountain water sourced at the foot of Mount Ikoma. Only 3% of sake breweries in Japan have access to this type of water.
Daimon Sake has been lauded as a fine example of traditional sake making, regularly garnering awards at internationally recognised competitions.

The Sake Sling story starts in Japan with Daimon Brewery and their desire to bring craft sake to the world. Conversations about how to make this lesser-known product accessible to more people followed - the clear answer was: let’s create sake-based cocktails, easily enjoyed at as many occasions as possible.
