In search of better Prosecco
The Emissary was created by London-based Edward Smith in 2018. Ed had become a little disillusioned with all the mass-produced, sub-standard Prosecco that seemed to have flooded the UK market. Having spent a lot of time in Northern Italy, Ed knew that there were a lot of delicious Proseccos out there, it’s just that not many of them seemed to be making their way to our shores. So he went on a mission around the region and found a 3rd generation, family run vineyard who poured all their years of experience and passion into making the most superb Proseccos, and they agreed to produce for Ed....and so The Emissary was born. All of Ed's Proseccos are 100% vegan, low in sugar (the DOC is only 4g/l residual) and made using sustainable methods.
