- 50ml Cognac
- 5ml Demerara Sugar Syrup
- 2 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
- 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
- 5ml Absinthe
- Lemon Twist to Garnish
- Cubed Ice

Method
- Chill the Glass: Place a rocks glass in the freezer or fill with ice to chill.
- Rinse the Glass: Pour 5ml of absinthe into the chilled glass, swirl to coat the interior thoroughly, and discard any excess liquid.
- Combine the Ingredients: Add 50ml Braastad XO Fine Champagne Cognac, 5ml demerara sugar syrup, 2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters and 1 dash of Angostura bitters to a mixing glass.
- Add the Ice: Fill the mixing glass with cubed ice.
- Stir the Mixture: Stir the ingredients gently until the drink is very cold.
- Strain and Garnish: Strain the cocktail into the prepared, absinthe-rinsed rocks glass without ice and garnish with a lemon twist.
