
Classic Caipirinha
The iconic Brazilian cocktail and exactly what cachaça is made for. Muddle in plenty of lime or try with a whole number of other fruits. Let the spirit of Brazil guide you.

Ingredients
- 50 ml Yaguara Organic Cachaça
- 2 teaspoons demerara sugar
- 1 lime
- Ice cubes
Method
- Prepare the Lime:
Wash the lime thoroughly, cut it into wedges, and remove the pith from the center. - Muddle with Sugar:
In a sturdy glass, muddle the lime wedges with 2 teaspoons of demerara sugar. Ensure you press gently to extract the lime’s juice without making it too bitter.
- Add Cachaça:
Pour 50 ml of Yaguara Organic Cachaça over the muddled lime and sugar.
- Stir Well:
Stir the mixture well to dissolve the sugar and blend the flavors.
- Add Ice:
Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill the Caipirinha.
- Stir Again:
Give the cocktail a final stir to incorporate the ice and chill the drink.
- Serve:
