Method

  1. Chill the Glass: Place a highball glass in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice and water to ensure it is perfectly chilled.
  2. Fill with Ice: Fill the highball glass to the brim with large, high-quality ice cubes.
  3. Measure the Shochu: Pour 50 ml of Île Four The Distiller 003 over the ice.
  4. Add Tonic Water: Top up the glass with your favourite premium tonic water, pouring slowly down the side of the glass to preserve the carbonation.
  5. Stir Gently: Use a long bar spoon to give the drink a brief, gentle stir to integrate the flavours without losing the fizz.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Express the oils from a fresh lime wedge over the drink and place it into the glass as a garnish.
