Ingredients

  • 60ml The Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin
  • 25ml Apple Eau de Vie
  • 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Garnish: Thin apple slice

Method

  1. Chill the Glass: Place your rocks glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to ensure it is thoroughly chilled.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Pour the Gin, Apple Eau de Vie, Fresh Lemon Juice, and optional Angostura Bitters into a mixing glass.
  3. Chill and Dilute: Fill the mixing glass 2/3 full with high-quality ice. Stir gently but thoroughly for 15-20 seconds to chill and perfectly dilute the cocktail. Stirring ensures maximum clarity.
  4. Strain and Serve: Discard the ice from the chilled rocks glass and add a single large, clear ice cube (or fresh ice). Strain the clear mixture into the glass.
  5. Garnish: Place a thin slice of fresh apple into the cocktail.
