  • 60ml The Sassenach Fine Scottish Vodka
  • 15ml Dry Vermouth
  • 5ml Fino Sherry
  • Garnish: Lemon Twist

Method

  1. Chill Everything: Place your Coupe or Martini glass in the freezer. Fill a mixing glass with ice to chill it thoroughly.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Discard the initial ice from the mixing glass. Pour the Vodka, Dry Vermouth, and Fino Sherry into the mixing glass.
  3. Stir and Dilute: Fill the mixing glass with fresh, large ice cubes. Stir gently but firmly for 20-25 seconds to achieve optimal chilling and dilution. (The higher ABV of vodka usually requires slightly longer stirring than gin).
  4. Serve: Double strain the mixture into the chilled Coupe or Martini glass.
  5. Garnish: Take a fresh piece of lemon peel, express the oils over the surface of the drink by sharply twisting it, then rub the peel around the rim of the glass before placing it in the cocktail.
