Broken Clock's subtly botanical recipe makes it a perfect spirit to substitute for gin in this classic aperitivo. It's English garden essences and smooth, full bodied flavour make this a generous and incredibly smooth snifter.

Brand Image

Crafted by time in the North of England this deliberately characterful copper pot-distilled vodka has the essences of an English country garden.

Introducing Broken Clock, a sophisticated and yet playful spirit that has been created by canny team at The Hidgate Ltd to be the opposite of the usual neutral, tasteless and rather insipid premium vodkas. The Broken Clock recipe harks back to the end of the 18th century and the first time vodka from the Slavic regions is described to the British public. Back then the best examples of copper pot distilled spirits - which the world vodka was reserved for - were characterful and made to be more luxurious through the subtle infusion of herbs, fruits, spices and local botanicals. When Broken Clock was created the team turned the clock back to this more time honoured approach to make a vodka with as much distinctive taste complexity and texture as possible, whilst still being a vodka which can be sipped and enjoyed neat or substituted for a plain example.
