This rum was matured for eight years in the Dominican Republic in ex-Bourbon casks, then for 11 years in the UK in ex-rum casks. On the nose, crème brûlée aromas with soft, creamy vanilla and dry fig undertones and a luscious buttery note. On the palate, flavours reminiscent of soaked raisins followed by subtle notes of cocoa nibs and cloves.
