More on the Wine

100% Syrah grown in the picturesque region of Valais in south west Switzerland, just a stone's throw from France's Rhone Valley.

It makes sense that this region can create some top class Syrah.

The perfect pairing for roast lamb and a great wine to break out for a celebration.

From the heart of the Alps

Les Celliers de Vétroz is a boutique winery founded by the Fontannaz family nestled in the hills of Valais, the largest wine region in the heart of the Alps in Switzerland.

Our vineyards cover 5 hectares on south facing steep slopes, between 500 and 700 metres above sea level in a so-called alpine terroir with mineral-rich soil, marl and limestone. We have 76 plots, some are old vines from 1974 and we grow 13 different grapes over 5 hectares, mostly local, Fendant, Amigne, Petite Arvine, Humagne Rouge and Cornalin.
