This rum was matured for five years in Barbados in ex-Bourbon casks, then for eight years in the UK in ex-Scotch whisky casks. The result is freshly baked bread on the nose, complemented by notes of creamy butter and sun-dried fruits. On the palate, an array of tropical fruits are accompanied by subtle spicy hints of nutmeg and cinnamon.
