Finch Single Malt Two Casks Whisky Private Edition 50cl
After a highly successful first bottling of their Two Casks 10-year-old whisky, Finch have released this second bottling, again coming from two excellent casks. One a high-class red wine cask and the other ex-bourbon of equal calibre. Specially grown wheat and barley malt from the Swabian Alb plateau form the perfect basis for an excellent distillate, which has been allowed to mature for 10 years in the carefully selected barrels. Expect distinct flavours of caramel, coconut, honey and very dark chocolate.

Nose: Inviting aromas of sweet caramel and honey, layered with delicate hints of coconut and a touch of red wine influence.
Palate: Rich and balanced with smooth malt, dark chocolate, and creamy coconut.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of dark cocoa and sweet oak.
Food Pairings
Rich Game: Pan-seared duck breast with a cherry reduction mirrors the red wine cask influence and high ABV.
Mature Cheese: A nutty Gruyère or creamy Blue Stilton complements the complex oak and honeyed notes.
Dark Sweets: High-cocoa sea salt chocolate pulls out hidden caramel and the savoury depths of the grain.
