This rum was matured for nine years in Trinidad in ex-Bourbon barrels, then for three years in the UK in ex-Bourbon barrels. One the nose, ripe pineapple, followed by notes of mango. On the palate, a caramel sweet sensation followed by notes of sweet dates and currants. Smooth, with lingering smoky tobacco and malt loaf notes in the finish.
