From the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria

The Amador Medrano winery was founded by Luis Medrano in 1984. In 1995, Amador Medrano, Luis's son, took the reins of the project, incorporating his ideas and producing Rioja Alavesa wines.

Since 2008, Amador has made wine with grapes exclusively from the estate to highlight the expressiveness of each plot and quality the potential for single vineyard plots in Rioja Alavesa.
