Aval Dor Vodka is crafted from premium Cornish potatoes from a fifth generation family farm.

Like many people, Founder Steve Dustow assumed that all distilleries make their spirits from scratch. Little did he know the uniqueness of a plough to bottle operation! Undertaking every step of the operation on a single estate, gives Colwith Farm Distillery complete control - and the results speak for themselves.

In 2017 they built a brand new space to house distilling equipment, a visitor centre, bar and shop. Next they searched the world over for the best distilling equipment on the market - to enable the spuds to become spirits! They tested 25 varieties of delicious Cornish potatoes grown on the farm - establishing which made the best vodka and gin.

Only then, 8 years after the distillery concept was born (2010), did they really start to learn about the complex operations, intrinsic to making beautiful craft spirits from scratch. Today, Colwith Farm Distillery is home to a genuine plough to bottle distilling operation, visitor centre, tasting bar and shop.
