Defrente, a naturally smooth blanco tequila, created for progressive drinkers who are seeking differentiated and well made products. A unique, unaged distillate inspired by Tequila's traditions without masking its flavours, but expressing them upfront. A spirit that seeks to honor and accentuate the purity of the agave azul with which it's made. Fruity on the nose, with prominent notes of cooked agave, lemongrass and honey. Subtle citrus, minerality and earthiness, with a light sweetness upfront.

Defrente tequila was launched with a clear purpose of what a great tequila should be today.

Defrente is an independently ran tequila with its own boutique distillery located in Atotonilco, in "Los Altos" of Jalisco. The distillery was built with the mission of conserving the highest quality standards in each drop of its tequila. Defrente follows traditional production methods based on artisanal processes that result in a pure, contemporary, agave forward spirit.
