Sichuan Negroni

Try Orientalist Gunpowder Gin for a negroni with notes of smoky tea and black pepper. Equal parts gin, bitter aperitivo, and sweet vermouth. Stir, strain, garnish with orange peel. Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 30ml Orientalist Gunpowder Gin
  • 30ml Bitter Aperitivo
  • 30ml Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange peel

Method

  1. Add Ice to a mixing glass and pour in the Orientalist Gunpowder Gin, bitter aperitivo and sweet vermouth.
  2. Stir well for 15 seconds being careful not to break the ice.
  3. Add a large piece of ice to a rocks glass or tumbler
  4. Strain the cocktail from the mixing glass into the rocks glass.
  5. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
  6. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
