Cask #4 from The Heart Cut is a rich and delicious single malt whisky from M&H Distillery, Israel. Not only is it fully matured in a pomegranate wine cask, but it’s also spent some of its time maturing in their warehouse by the Dead Sea — the lowest point on earth. Expect notes of Medjool dates, cherry pie and salted caramel. This is a limited release with only 398 bottles available.

Nose: Rich Medjool dates and sweet cherry pie.

Palate: Luscious salted caramel and dark fruit notes from the pomegranate wine cask.

Rich Desserts: Sticky toffee pudding or dark chocolate tarts to complement the Medjool date and salted caramel notes.

Released periodically throughout the year, each carefully selected cask has been picked in collaboration with the partner distillery, telling their personal tale of people, provenance and the pursuit of crafting distinctive flavours through the art of production.

We were founded by two spirits and, in particular, whisky enthusiasts who have both worked in the drinks industry for over a decade each. We’re deeply passionate about spirits — not just drinking them with friends — but learning about their stories, enjoying new flavours and talking to the people who craft them.

I bought this Japanese Whisky for my son -in-law who tried it at a whisky tasting event - it was his favourite. My experience with the DrinksOne team was excellent. Due to a technical glitch I could not find confirmation of my order, plus the number of my flat did nit appear on the delivery address. Stuart at DrinksOne responded immediately to my email. sent me tracking details and the whisky arrived to be signed for at the exact appointed time. Bottle is very well packaged, with the original whisky carton folded flat inside so you can assemble it to make a perfect gift. Top rate service provider.
