Over 130 Years of History

Gamondi Amaro first came to be in 1890 whilst Carlo Gamondi was managing the family grocery store. Demand for his amaro grew and led to the opening of Bar Gamondi where Carlo could focus more of his attention on satisfying Piemonte's booming interest in "Super Amaro". Between 1922 and 1928 Mr Gamondi perfect a number of recipes. Needing his legacy to live on, the words "The exact recipe for Amaro Gamondi is written on a piece of paper in my wallet" featured in Gamondi's will and the story of Gamondi lives on today.

The Toso Family resurrected the legacy in in 2009, with many of the original recipes, upholding the dedication to quality and passion behind the liqueurs and vermouths.
