Bring the heat with this spicy margarita that's elevated by Curado Blue Agave.
Ingredients
60 ml Curado Blue Agave
30ml freshly squeezed lime juice
15ml agave syrup
Pinch of chilli flakes (adjust according to spice preference)
Ice cubes
Lime wedge (for garnish)
Chilli pepper flake and salt mix (for rimming and garnish)
Method
Rim the tall glass with chilli salt. To do this, spread chilli salt on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into the chilli salt until evenly coated.
In a shaker, combine the tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, agave syrup, and a pinch of chilli flakes.
Add ice cubes to the shaker.
Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the drink and infuse the flavors.
Strain the mixture into the prepared tall glass filled with ice cubes.
Garnish the drink with a lime wedge and a sprinkle of chili flakes if desired.
